Tattoo Removal
Nothing lasts forever
Procedure
- The laser light is delivered onto the tattooed area of the skin via high-power pulses. The surrounding skin cells, however, are not harmed in the process. Air-cooling during the treatment protects the skin and reduces pain.
- Once the pigment particles of the tattoo come into contact with the laser, they disintegrate into tiny fragments. A continuous brightening of the tattoo can be seen after each session.
- These fragments are then broken down naturally by your body’s immune system. This process of breaking down usually takes a couple of weeks.
- The complete removal of most tattoos usually takes more than one treatment and depends on its color, size, depth, and location.
- Treatments occur in 4-8 week intervals and take 10-30 minutes.
- Price is determined by size.
What types of tattoos can be removed with the laser?
- Professional, as well as amateur tattoos
- Colored (red, yellow, green) tattoos
- Cosmetic tattoos such as Permanent Makeup and Long Time Liner
- Tattoos resulting from trauma (e.g pencil tips or smoulder)
